Massimo after qualifying as a chemist and working for 5 years both as an industrial chemist and in a charity lab for cancer research decided to come to England for a new start. He wanted to learn more about alternative therapies that helped him in the past to overcome difficult health issues. He qualified in massage, reflexology and Thai massage. Only at a later stage he understood the importance of the relationship between the skeletal structure and the nervous system through the study of Chiropractic. Chiropractic has been a powerful tool to fully express his potentials and a concrete bridge between his scientific background and his more intuitive and sensitive self. Massimo has carried out further studies in computerised analysis of gait for the development of orthotics for the feet.
Massimo is also an Applied Kinesiologist.

Rebecca Douglas
Rebecca was a forceps baby and therefore had quite a traumatic birth. As a young child she had recurrent ear infections and nearly lost her hearing completely. On top of this she is a keen horse rider and has had many falls some minor and others more serious and a serious car accident. Due to all these rather unfortunate events a biomechanical imbalance in Rebecca’s jaw and neck meant as a teenager she suffered from daily headaches, neck and shoulder pain and monthly excruciating headaches where only a darkened room would suffice. After trying many avenues of treatment she finally found McTimoney Chiropractic. She believes because the whole body was treated, especially her pelvis which was very unbalanced, it finally started to relieve the pain.
After her first degree in Behavioural Sciences (psychology and zoology) she decided to study McTimoney Chiropractic as she wanted to be involved in a health care role she felt passionate about. Since her experience with her own treatment was so successful she started down the long path of study at the McTimoney College.
Rebecca loves her job, seeing people become well and their pain fading into the background plus the opportunity to have a good chat too!!
